REGIONAL VOLUNTARY LEVEL 4 3 & 2

 28th SEPTEMBER 2008

In the Regional Level 4 we had Amy Tinkler, Caitlin Maguire and Samantha Cooper.  The girls had an excellent competition, coming second in the team event.   Amy won the individual all round title and Caitlin finished in 4th place, both girls qualifying to go to the National Finals at Guildford to represent the North in November along with Mia Amberlez and Heavenly-Paige Gent from Newcastle.

 

In the Regional Level 3 we had Emily Gargan, Jade Armstrong, Emma Pickering and Charlotte Hall.  The girls also had an excellent competition finishing first in the team event.  Individually Emily came 2nd, Jade 3rd and Emma 4th.  All qualifying to go to the National Finals at Guildford to represent the North in November along with Devon Anderson from Newcastle.  Charlotte finished in 5th place and is reserve for the National team.

 

In the Regional Level 2 we had Kelsey Garbutt, who had an excellent competition and finished in 1st place.  Kelsey goes to the National Finals at Guildford representing South Durham, as Level 2 don’t qualify as part of a team.

TEAM GYM COMPETITION

 Rebecca Irving, Laura Smart, Sophie Willis, Abbie Learman, Stacey Thompson and Lauren Anderson all travelled to Scotland to represent South Durham in The Team Gym Competition.  The girls had an excellent competition and finished in first  place.
