REGIONAL VOLUNTARY LEVEL 4,3,2
NEWCASTLE 27th SEPTEMBER 09

 

Claudia Barkes, Lily Nicolson, Bethany McLaughlin and Lauryn Armstrong all entered the regional voluntary level 4 at Newcastle.  The girls had an excellent competition finishing in 1st place as a team. Individually Bethany took the Gold, Claudia the silver and Lily the bronze.   All three girls will travel down to Guildford to represent the North in the National Finals, alongside Kelly Rogers from Newcastle who finished in 4th place. Lauryn finished in 5th place qualifying as the team reserve. 

Amy Tinkler and Caitlin Maguire entered the regional voluntary level 3 at Newcastle.  The girls had an excellent competition, Amy finished in 1st place taking the gold medal and Caitlin finished in 2nd place taking the silver.  Both girls will travel down to Guildford in November to represent the North in the National Finals, alongside Lauren Hearfield from Redcar and Abigail Myles from Newcastle who finished in 3rd and 4th place respectively.

Jade Armstrong and Emily Gargan entered the regional voluntary level 2 at Newcastle.  The girls also had an excellent competition, Jade finished in 1st place taking the gold medal and Emily finished in 3rd place taking the bronze.  Both girls will travel down to Guildford in November representing South Durham in the National Finals.

Well done girls! Another great achievement for South Durham.  Once again, we came away with all three levels as champions.
