REGIONAL COMPULSORY LEVEL 4, 3 & 2
SOUTH DURHAM 13TH MARCH 11

Courtney Burton and Katie Leadbitter entered the regional compulsory level 4.  The girls had an excellent competition finishing in 1st and 2nd place respectively.  Both girls will now represent the North in May at the National Finals alongside Mae Hill from Redcar.

 Alex Learman, Jade Hepple, Dena Kirk, Leah Rockett and Olivia Bell entered the regional compulsory level 3 here in our gym.  The girls had an excellent competition, finishing in 1st place as a team.  Individually Alex came 1st, Jade 2nd, Dena 3rd, Leah 4th and Olivia 5th.  The top four girls qualified to represent the North in the National Finals at Birmingham with Olivia as the team reserve.  A fantastic achievement for the club to have the full National team represented by South Durham.

 In the regional compulsory level 2 we had Claudia Barkes, Lauryn Armstrong and Bethany Mclaughlin.  This competition is a run out for the following week when they go to Liverpool to pass their elite grade.  All girls who are following the elite path must pass their elite grade at Liverpool to enable them to enter the British Championships the following year.  Claudia finished in 1st place, Lauryn in 2nd and Bethany in 3rd
