Family Play
Family Play Sessions are very similar to our Baby & Toddler Gym sessions, with the exception of allowing children up to the age of 7 to attend too!
Please note: As a high-performance gymnastics centre with specialised equipment, we are dedicated to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. We have a legal obligation to ensure it is safe for everyone to participate in gymnastics, following British Gymnastics guidelines. Some contraindications to gymnastics, such as Dwarfism, Brittle Bones, Detaching Retina, Rodded Spine, and Down’s Syndrome, require medical advice or screening before participation. If your child has any of these conditions, please contact us at gym@southdurhamgym.co.uk. A member of our team will be happy to discuss your needs and guide you through the next steps for joining our sessions
Planning Your Visit
Running on Sunday mornings and throughout the school holidays, the Pink Gym is transformed into an inviting safe environment with full use of the gymnastics equipment (including the trampolines!), as well as plenty of soft obstacles, inflatables and toys to encourage babies and younger children to explore and expand their boundaries under your guidance.
Sessions are suitable for children aged 6 months - 7 years, and cost £6.60 per child. Children under 6 months go free!
Term time sessions running on a Sunday can be booked online (via the button above), or you can drop in on the day and pay via card, cash or Apple Pay! Please note that drop in spaces will be issued on a first come, first served basis until session capacity is met.
School holiday sessions MUST be booked online in advance. All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
There is a £2 sibling discount if you are bringing siblings along to the same class - simply enter the code: SIBLING before you enter your payment details online!
