For lots of children last week many of them have said their final goodbyes to Fiona as she leaves the pink gym to continue on her journey with Darlington Gymnastics club. For all of us here at team pink goodbyes are just not possible and it was more of a 'see you soon' kind of day...her role over the past 16 years has influenced both gymnasts and coaches supporting them in all ways possible and over the past year even though her hours have reduced her support to push our younger coaches has only increased.
Our best wishes have been passed on through gifts, hugs, lots of love and the words reminding Fiona that
'once you're a pink lady, you're always a pink lady'
