Our penultimate competition of the year took place on Sunday and saw our highest scoring girls from the North Voluntary Championships come together to compete in the North Voluntary Team Championships!
We had an amazing day coming away with 4 out of the 5 Overall Team Trophies resulting in South Durham becoming the North Voluntary Team Overall Champions!

Wow, what an amazing first international for Mercedes in Greece! After competing Vault and Bars on Saturday and Beam and Floor Sunday she finished 2nd in the All Around taking the Silver medal with Team England also taking the Silver!

This weekend saw the final competition of 2019 for Keira, Rose and Claire who travelled down the Surrey to represent the North and compete among the best gymnasts in Great Britain.
Keira kicked off the weekend on Saturday competing in the Level 3 competition and taking into account the Compulsory results from earlier in the year Keira ranked 7th in the UK for her age group! Keira also put out an outstanding bar routine which resulted in her top scoring on bars for the whole of her competition[..]

We had a very busy weekend at the North Voluntary Levels which were held at the City of Newcastle Gymnastics Academy with girls from our Elite, Advanced and Intermediate Squads travelling up across the two days. Some fantastic gymnastics on display with lots of new skills put out onto the competition floor for the first time, the Pink Ladies fought off some large fields of competition and came out with some excellent results!
